Veda's Healing Journey Through Natural Medicine

Those who know me know that I am maniacal about my health. However, I recently realized that regardless of health status, dis-ease can strike at anytime. We can control what we eat, nutrition, exercise, lifestyle, thoughts and our mindset.  In addition to these things, we must listen to what our bodies are telling us to have real insight into our health. Between the years of 2018 - 2022, were highly stressful years for me, which I believe gave way to a physical manifestation of dis-ease. I must say that my body did communicate a need for self-care and rest. Eventhough, I did listen and implemented self-care,  it was insufficient compared to societal reverence for "work" over rest. What is also an unpopular practice in this society is respect and consideration for one's perspective, if it differs from the status quo. I have chosen not to receive the traditional means of treatment, which does not honor my body's healing process.  Therefore, I have been denied financial coverage by insurance, eventhough the cost is a fraction of the cost for receiving traditional treatment. However,  I will always maintain the choice to choose the appropriate treatment and pathway to healing that is right for me.

I do not claim this dis-ease as my own. It is not "my" dis-ease, neither do I "have" this dis-ease, rather, I am experiencing challenges related to it (breast cancer). However, I do claim that my body IS Divine Intelligence, I EXPERIENCE miracles everyday, and I rejoice as I RECIEVE my healing.
