House fire recovery fund

9/3/2024 it's officially our 1 year update. RIP Merlyn and Roxy. Our insurance company has officially denied us and we have literally lost everything we have worked for in and on our property here in Hastings. We are not giving up and will continue to push forward. Please share!!!!!!

I am Chris, my family and I have lost a lot this past year. We had a devastating house fire and we had lost most everything. The house is standing but will need to be torn down due to it being so badly damaged. My wife lost her service dog and I lost my companion dog roxy as well. We are struggling to make bills while we try and figure out what to do next. Also we are trying to get some money to help with legal fees. It has been such a hard year....with a 8 year old and a baby thats almost 2 yr old who are both severely traumatized we are just trying our best. We also need help getting my wife a new service dog she struggles without our sweet merlyn. I hate to see people suffer in general but watching my kids and wife suffer is breaking my heart. I recently lost my job and need to find work. I have my feelers out looking for some as we speak but paying for things until then is....rough.
