Raise money for an AED unit at nursery
Donation protected
On the 15th of January 2021, we received a call at the nursery with the heartbreaking news that one of our children had lost their wonderful daddy to Sudden Arrhythmic death syndrome. As the 2nd anniversary has just passed we have been reflecting as a nursery to see if we are doing enough to protect our fantastic children, families and staff.
Although when you think about young children and their families, Cardiac arrest does not seem like something you will face, in the UK at least 12 fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed heart conditions every week.
Please help us to protect our families, staff and the wider community by donating to help us to raise money to buy an AED unit to be based in the nursery reception. This will be registered on the National Defibrillator database so that it can be accessed by surrounding businesses and the wider community should they ever find themselves in a position where it is needed.
The Defibrillator we are aiming to buy costs £1380.00, we have attached the link below.
