Marathon run for Crohn’s and Colitis UK

I am running the Battersea Park Marathon on 22nd October to raise money for Crohn’s and Colitis UK because someone close to me has been diagnosed with Crohn’s recently. I have witnessed how long it can take to get a diagnosis, how hard it is to find a treatment that works, and how difficult living with a chronic illness is.

Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

More information about Crohn's & Colitis UK: Crohns Disease and Ulcerative Colitis are the two main forms of Inflammatory Bowel Disease, affecting more than 500,000 people in the UK. Yet it is largely a hidden disease, and one that causes stigma, fear and isolation.

For more than 30 years, Crohn’s and Colitis has been leading research activities that build evidence and create insight into the lived experiences, causes, and best treatments of Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.

Our aim is to use research to create evidence that improves the lives of people affected by Crohn’s and Colitis and, ultimately, to find a cure.
