Raise Money for Eirian Williams funeral

Hi Everyone,

My name is Caitlin and I am fundraising to support Abi, a very close friend, in paying her mums funeral.

On Tuesday 30th May 2023, Abi sadly lost her mum, Eirian Williams. Eirian was only 54 and had so much more love to give to the world

It was only 6 months ago Abi lost her Nan and on the 20th June, she will have to do the hardest thing someone will ever have to do. At the age of 23 Abi and her mum Eirian, were the 2 members of her family who were in it together and now at 23 Abi has lost her person and stands this world on her own without her best friend.

At the age of 23 this isn’t something she thought she would have to do which many of us would find hard to do, but Abi is doing it and doesn’t even show how hard it is as she is trying to stand strong for her mum to make her proud.

Eirian was full of happiness and joy and never would let you be in a room with her without giving you a hug. All the times I have been in the room with Eirian and she’s given me a hug without realising how much I needed it. She was the most self-less, the most loving, caring and the brightest soul. A world without Eirian is a dark world.

To describe Eirian in one word would be the most difficult and I don’t think there is enough words to do this. If you have never met Eirian or had a conversation with her, you have definitely missed out. The warmth and love she gave to everyone is something people will miss and will be something to cherish forever

Abi, I can’t describe the pain you must be feeling right now and I can’t imagine having to deal with this on your own without your mum here. You are one of the strongest and determined people I know and I know you will go on to do this for her and make your mum even more proud of you than she already was. One of the first times meeting Eirian she spoke so highly, with pride and so much love towards you.

I am asking if anyone can make even a small donation or share the link for this GoFund me; this would take some of the pressure off Abi and allow her to remember the life her mum had and the memories they both shared without the stress of money. Any money left will go towards supporting Abi at this time

A statement from Abi in memory of her mum follows:

“My rock, best friend, Mam, passed away suddenly on Tuesday there are currently no words to use. Mams infectious smile and warm personality drew everybody in you didn’t stand a chance of not having a hug if you were in the same room. For everyone that knew mam a smile on everyone else’s face was something she tried to do all throughout her life. Mams ability to bring light to the darkest of times, as she really did brighten the lives of those she crossed paths with.

Williams I don’t know what to say and find it hard to face the fact that I won’t see you again but a promise I will make is to carry on, you gave me absolutely everything in life and you brought me up to be strong and independent, I will try and make you proud mam.
