raise money to build the hall of hope

At Grassfly foundation we help vulnerable youths in Zambia develop skills so that they have a better chance to prosper . We give children in desperate need a home of chances where we provide nutrition, love and care.

We run programs such as dance classes, one on one reading sessions, art lessons, skills in math and timetable, tailoring and sewing skills, bakery, carpentry workshops and spelling competitions. However, we do not have an appropriate space from many of these workshops or committee meetings for the grassfly foundation.

The brickwork and foundations have been built but we want to reconstruct the inside of the building on our plot. We want to accommodate the programs and workshops mentioned and others so our vision is a spacious room or library with bookshelves, tables and chairs that can be moved to create a space for dance and other workshops that need space.

We have estimated that the roofing, plaster, windows, electricity and shelving will cost around four thousand pounds.
