Raise money to help this project gain UK Charity status

I'm raising £5,000 for an environment project

I began the Broadleaf Farm project in 2012 by planting over 5000 trees on a 6.5 acre site that I have since designated as a memorial to my daughter, Yaina. As the project evolved I looked at funding to keep the land as a wildlife sanctuary long after I am gone. I have bought the land outright, paid for all the trees and done all the planting, and fenced the site; the next major stumbling block is that before I can apply to protect this 6.5 acre site through helping it gain charity status, the project must first raise £5,000.00 (five thousand pounds) in donations.

The site will look at continued funding for land management and maintenance through sponsorship (please see the website link below for details), and the governments carbon offsetting initiatives. I have to this end already been in communication with local industrial players, such as Tata Steel. However, without charity status companies like Tata Steel have been reluctant to support this small project until it is established (bit of a catch 22 scenario). As such, it was suggested that I reach out to people like myself who are keen to help secure habitats that are designated and protected, where wildlife can live and flourish. As you will see from my very basic draft website (https://broadleaffarm.myfreesites.net/), I also hope for the charity to extend to giving the wood (logs) produced by yearly land management coppicing, to local families experiencing fuel poverty; any excess log material will be donated to an identified local charity that runs a biomass wood pellet heating system. However, the project cannot move forward until it has raised at least £5,000.00 in donations to allow the project to fulfil the financial requirement for gaining charity status. This will allow me to become we; and then we can continue our journey of supporting wildlife and local people in fuel poverty, and insuring the long-term protection of this small corner of our over developed planet.
