Raise money towards home adaptations

Hi!
A brief background about me! I was diagnosed with MS in January 2015 after an episode of optic neuritis. I went on to have two severe relapses which resulted in deterioration of my mobility. I commenced a treatment called Lemtrada. This was an infusion over two years to destroy the B & T cells that attack the nerves within my body. My immune system was compromised as a result.
Over the years (thanks to Lemtrada), my MS has been quite stable with only minor relapses or flares.
Anybody that knows me knows that I am incredibly stubborn and I have continued to be positive despite everything that MS seems to throw at me.
I have been incredibly lucky to have a wonderful husband, a fantastic circle of family and friends and I am blessed to have my two children- they are my life.
I have so much to be thankful for.
Recently, my MS has progressed further and I am now unable to walk due to my left leg unable to function (the right isn't much better!). I have been using my wheelchair since July 2022 and I'm getting used to being a full time wheelchair user. I self propel to keep some fitness but I really need a motorised handbike to attach onto my chair to help me be even more independent. I have been incredibly lucky to have received donations for this which I now have.
I am fundraising now to adapt my home such as installing ramps to the back garden. Unfortunately, I get no funding for this.
As well as raising money for myself, I will also be taking part in the MS walk- stroll and roll in Manchester early next year. Any surplus funds will be dedicated to amazing MS charities and all that they do. I am also looking into other fundraising ideas to raise as much as I can for them.
Thank you for reading and any donations are greatly appreciated and gratefully received.
