With the support of over 30 direct Titanic descendants, we today open an historic recovery campaign for future generations, and for the world. Thank you for your support!

WHAT WE'LL RAISE

  • Port & Starboard anchor
  • Port & Starboard propeller
  • Boiler
  • Marconi Radio
  • Bow section (forward of Fireman's Staircase)

WHY NOW?

Titanic is disintegrating. Experts believe much of her will be gone in 25 years. The stern is far beyond recognition; before it collapses over them we must recover her two propellers stamped with No. 401.

We must prevent this historic ship's DEMOLITION BY DECAY.

As a UNESCO World Heritage site Titanic cannot be left to ruin. Raising these important elements would negate the need for tourist dives to every again visit the wreck site.

HOW WE'LL DO THIS

Deep ocean floor remote mining technology makes recovery possible and financially feasible for the very first time.

In August 1974, a 38-foot section of the wreckage of the K-129 Soviet ballistic missile submarine was raised three miles from the ocean floor up into the hull of a U.S. salvage ship. Project Azorian was unquestionably the most ambitious and the most audacious ocean engineering effort ever attempted.

Lift 1: Main center anchor [15.8 tons]
Lift 2: Port & Starboard anchors [7 3/4 tons]
Lift 3: Scotch boiler from debris field [48 tons]
Lift 4: Port & Starboard 3 bladed manganese bronze propellers [38 tons]
Lift 5: Marconi Radio that sent CQD distress signal
Lift 6: Bow section forward of Fireman's staircase [approx 5,000 tons]

WHO SUPPORTS THIS?

Over 30 direct family descendants are in favor raising these significant historical elements.

The Mary Rose was raised in 1982 though the site of 400 lost crew; ethically, Titanic recovery is no different. The stunning Henry VIII flagship has now seen over ten million visitors, boosting the local economy.

Britannic, sister ship of Titanic, is open to technical divers even though 30 were lost in the sinking.

For historians, recovering Titanic's bow would solve a hundred-year mystery: the exact point of impact with the iceberg.

DESCENDANT VOICES

While all voices are welcome, descendant's wishes are paramount.

'My Great Uncle passed that night. I would be inclined to save and preserve what is possible vs it disintegrate to ocean floor. Many cemeteries unearth remains after 100 yrs to make room for newer graves. Nothing being preserved.'

'I think recovery and preservation of pieces of the ship are important for legacy, nautical history and safety purposes.' Great Uncle was a Titanic Trimmer.

Let's bring her back to daylight and allow her to live out her days while people still stand in awe before her fabulous glory from 1912.

If you could stand beneath Titanic's propeller, would you?
