Raise the Tagish

Donation protected
On the morning of December 29th, our friend Don Etheridge was notified his tug, the Tagish, had sunk. Don had been working on this piece of Alaskan history for close to 20 years. He has been a strong advocate in the Juneau community for a variety of causes and is always willing to help a friend out. As you may expect, the costs associated with the clean-up and salvage of the Tagish is going to be expensive (recent estimates are around $200,000). If you have the ability to chip in to help offset the costs associated with the sinking, I know it would be greatly appreciated, The Tagish was originally built in the early '40s and served in Pearl Harbor during WWII. From there it served the West Coast and Hawaii in the Foss Fleet before coming up to Alaska.
