Raise vital funds for a local club & Gift of Sight
Donation protected
Caton United Football Club and friends, are walking 3120 ft to the top of Helvellyn on Sunday April 14th.
Committee members, management, players, supporters and friends of the club are all coming together to make the climb, in order to raise vital funds for a local community football club, and for an incredibly worthwhile charity, Gift of Sight. 50% of all funds raised will be donated straight to Gift of Sight, with the remaining 50% used to complete essential works to keep Caton United improving, to provide a terrific local facility for young footballers in the area.
Caton local, Abby, is a big supporter of Gift of Sight, as her young daughter Amelia was diagnosed with Albinism at just 3 months old. Albinism affects the pigmentation of the eyes, resulting in reduced vision. Gift of Sight is a brilliant charity, looking to provide treatments for this condition and all donations put them a step closer to being able to help people like Amelia.
All donations are greatly appreciated, and really do go towards to making great things happen for both your local club, and for Gift of Sight.
Please give what you can, it is greatly appreciated. Please include a players name as the reference, or a generic “fan of the club” where necessary. Thank you.
