Raised Roots Home Gardens

Hi everyone,

To keep my story short, I grew up in the Bay Area and went to college in Stockton, in the heart of the agriculturally driven San Joaquin Valley. In the valley, you can drive for miles and see nothing but orchards. So, naturally, I was somewhat taken aback upon learning that hunger was so prevalent right here in Stockton. After a few years of studying, I graduated with a degree in Environmental Science at University of the Pacific and came up with the idea of starting a backyard garden service. First off, I'd be showing people the difference growing their own food could make, especially in these times in which we can never be certain how our food is grown. Second, I hope that down the line I will be able to directly help people that really need it - the people whose resources don't allow them access to fresh produce for a range of reasons. 

That said, what I'm asking for is that the $2,500 I have available be matched in order to cover business expenses. These expenses include:

-Truck
-Tools
-Seeds
-Website/Logo Design
-Initial Marketing
-Licensing

I would so greatly appreciate contributions of any amount.
