Raising awareness of the TSA at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025
Donation protected
We're Jen Donnelly and Catherine Gibbon, garden designers from Buckinghamshire, and we're building a garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show that is incredibly close to our hearts. It is dedicated to the Tuberous Sclerosis Association (TSA), a small UK-based charity for this rare genetic condition. The garden will then live on at Amersham Hospital where visitors, patients and staff will be able to enjoy this sanctuary garden!
This garden is inspired by my own personal experience of waiting while my son, Alex, who has Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC), underwent brain surgery. This garden is designed as a peaceful sanctuary - a "Room to Breathe" for caregivers to recharge during the stress of hospital visits.
It's self-funded, and every bit of support we receive goes towards creating a garden to raise awareness of TSC, supporting families affected by the condition.
With generous suppliers already backing us, we're reaching out to our friends to help us cover some of the costs of the build and the relocation.
After the show, we're relocating the garden to Amersham Hospital, part of Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, where it will continue to serve as a haven for patients, families and caregivers.
We commit to donating at least 25% of all donations received directly to the charity - the TSA - with the remainder used to pay for costs associated with the garden build and relocation post-Show.
