Raising earnest money to purchase the hospital

My name is Jason C. Robinson, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. I am an associate Veterinarian at East Village Green Animal Hospital in Levittown, New York on Long Island. The current owner of the practice and the building is looking to sell and I decided to throw my hat in the ring. I am currently working with City National Bank to procure both the practice and the building. In this process, I realized that it takes money, SERIOUS MONEY, to own a business. I have filled out the proper paperwork and awaiting the amount that the Small Business Administration will lend me to fulfill my dream of practice ownership and continuing to serve the community and their companion animals.

East Village Green Animal Hospital has served the community and surrounding areas for over 25 years. The legacy of the hospital has roots and offers lower cost veterinary care to our clients. I would like to continue this legacy and improve upon the building and the services that we offer by making cosmetic and protocol improvements over time.

My fear is that the current owner will grow tired of waiting for this deal to go through and sell out to corporate entities. Being a privately owned veterinary hospital, we are able to alter our prices to serve companion animals in need by making care affordable to their families.
