Raising funds for a micro-budget feature film

Eric and I, are going to make the greatest little film ever made. Seriously, this film is getting made. The question is, do you want to be part of it?

Here's what you get for your contribution.

Yes, it's a small crew, but we're going to be shooting it on a small boat, so a big crew would be problematic at best.

The story is about a young woman who finds herself trapped on a boat in the middle of the ocean, and discovers that her boatmate is a serial killer.

Eric and I have about 50 years of filmmaking under our collective belts. We now have some talented locals on-board as well.

The one word that matters most is "authenticity." There have been a few films shot on boats, but they don't sit well with the boating community. They don't look "real". But this film is not just for the boating types. It will be a tense drama with a twisted ending. It just happens to be set on a small boat.

We have some funding already and this project will happen, shooting in the Spring, it's a slightly twisted psychological drama. I will be editing and it will be finished late summer 2025.

I can't wait to get started shooting this, but the secret to shooting low-budget thing is preparation. That's happening now. Locations, casting, camera/lens tests.

This film will be shot in 2:39 aspect ratio and will comply with all international streaming standards and will be distributed by Film Hub.

Yes, this will be a low-budget film, seriously low budget, but that's not really a problem. The problem would be having a bigger budget, because there's nowhere to put a bigger crew on a small boat. It would also be tempting to shoot in a tank. There's a very good one right here in Malta, but it would look fake and that's not what we're going for.

Anything $100 or more and your name will be in the credits. Any contribution will help us create the feature we want to see.
