Raising funds for Brian Devine
Donation protected
Many of us have known and worked with Brian Devine many years. He is an Army veteran, a likeable person with a great smile and the most positive outlook. A husband, father of two and friend to all. In late April, he began experiencing extreme pain and swelling in his right ankle. After several days he went to the hospital where tests confirmed a severe infection (combination of MRSA, Staph) that resulted in immediate amputation of his right leg. You would never know just by talking to him what he’s going through. Even while in the hospital and at the rehab facility, he’s continued to work. A “pity party” is definitely not for him. Our goal is to raise funds to help with costs for modifications to his home. To start, we know he will need a ramp built to get in/out of his house, an adjustable bed, modifications to a bathroom, some doorways extended and egress windows (emergency escape) that are compliant. We thank you for helping us help a good friend and coworker.
