Mother battling stage 4 cancer
Donation protected
My name is Azelia I am 16 years old. I am the daughter of Luisa Pérez. I have one older brother named Oziel who is 18 and two younger siblings; My sister Eliana who is 5 and my little brother Elisha who is 2. My mother is a very devout to her family and 4 children. She is such a faithful believer. She's was always a hard worker. She's a great mother. The past 4 years have been very rough for my family. Just about 4 years ago. I lost my beloved great grandmother a week before my 13th birthday. A month later I lost my beloved grandmother to colon cancer. In March of 2019 my mother became extremely ill. She was throwing up everything that she was eating. It took the hospital a long time to figure out what was wrong with her, despite all the tests that were done we were clueless to what was wrong. It was very clear that my mom was extremely ill. Then one day after weeks. My mom received a miracle. She was transferred to another hospital in Orlando, Florida. Where they discovered that she had stage 4 cancer. They quickly operated on her, and my mom slowly got better. However, it didn't last very long. A couple of months later back the doctor told her that the cancer had spread again. Once again, my mom is very ill fighting for her life. She went to a clinic in Mexico to get treatment praying for another miracle. Unfortunately, we did not have the money needed to keep her there for as long as she needed to stay. That is why I'm putting up this page. We believe in the power of prayer, that when you pray with faith and make the steps God will move any mountain that can stand in our way. I have already lost 2 of the most important women in my life. It was the worst thing I’ve had to endure 4 years ago. My mother is my best friend and confidant; my life will never be the same without her. My mom is only 46 years old and is diagnosed with stage 4 Adenocarcinoma cancer. She got chemo and thought things will get better and everything went up hill till recently when she’s been just in bed not getting up. She is in severe pain not doing anything. She doesn’t eat or anything. She needs assistance to use the rest room. My mother is physically here but she not living life the way she used to. It is so difficult for my brother and I to take care of our 2 younger siblings. Also try to keep up with school which has been extremely hard. We have seen the grace of God through our family, teachers, church and friends who have supported us in our time of need with food and support. We are deeply thankful. The hardest part of this is watching my mother in such pain. We don’t want our mother just to fade away right in front of our eyes. We want to do anything possible to keep her here with us. I deeply miss having girl nights out, going to the park, going to the beach, or watching movies. I just miss having special family time to be together. Right now she is at her lowest point. I don’t want her to lose hope. Nothing would mean more to me then to get her back to the health she had. I would appreciate any donation to send my mother to a clinic in Miami (Biomolecular Treatment Center), then they will continue the treatment she was receiving in Mexico. Anything matters and if you can’t that’s fine please put my mother in your prayers. Thank you for your time and efforts. God bless you all!
