Raising funds for Des and his family

My brother, a dad of two very young kids, Des Burke has been battling cancer since 2020 after being diagnosed at the age of just 38. After successful surgery and treatment in early 2021, the cancer sadly returned before Christmas that year, just as Des was due to start a new job. He is still fighting the good fight and has demonstrated incredible resilience on this difficult journey, supported by his amazing wife and family.

Des will beat this thing, but due to ongoing treatment and surgeries over the past three years, hasn’t been able to work since his diagnosis in August 2020. With treatment set to continue for Des for the foreseeable this year, he may not get back on his feet and be in a position to seek employment again for some time. The enormous financial burden that fighting cancer has on any family cannot be overstated and Des and his family are truly grateful for any contribution you might make here.
