Raising funds for kids who lost a parent

Want to join me in making a difference? My name is Colton Koehne, and in April of 2021 I lost my father to Covid-19. My father was a dedicated family man, a Marine Corp veteran and a huge New York Rangers fan. Losing my father has by far been the biggest challenge in my life, a challenge that I continue to deal with daily. I was shocked to learn that I was just one of many kids in my school district that suffered the loss of a parent. No one should have to experience this loss at such a young age.

As a Henrik Lundqvist Foundation Young Ambassador, I have the opportunity to help kids within my district who, like me, have experienced the loss of a parent. Knowing the struggle all to well, I knew that I wanted to give back to these kids in recognition of their underlying strength and resilience. My goal is to give each child a gift card or fun experience so they can find a little enjoyment amidst their grief.
