Raising funds for Kineton Cricket Club's Pavilion

For many years, Kineton Cricket Club has been at the heart of our little villages community, with a range of sports taking place at our Sports and Social Club. Over the last 5 years, we have made some fantastic improvements to our club to ensure we can provide the best facilities for our player from all walks of life, from our thriving junior section, our youthful senior section and our growing ladies and girls section. On the pitch, we are extremely proud of our achievements, with our senior sections being promoted to the Cotswold Hills Premier League (1st XI) and Cotswold Hills Fifth Division (2nd XI). Our Sunday team has recently entered the Arden Hill Cricket League and is proving vital in our junior sections development from junior to senior cricket. Our Junior sections are always growing as people and as cricketers within our local junior leagues, with many titles coming their way. Our Ladies and womens team is new to the club in 2020, and we look forward to being able to grow this section in the years to come.
However, with times changing and with our club growing, we need to take the next step to improving our local community cricket club. Our pavilion has served us for many years and though minor changes and improvements have helped, we have reached a point where it is no longer suitable for all of our needs. Our growing womens and girls section as well as our impressive junior teams has led us to needed more space, and specifically more changing rooms in order to provide the space that each of our talented players need.
To do this, we are looking to build a new pavilion. This will increase the size of our pavilion from 2 small changing rooms to 4 changing rooms, with some additional storage too. We believe this is vital to help our club grow and become a more inviting and exciting club to be representing. We are incredibly proud of our cricketing history, but we are even more excited by our future as a club.
With your help, and through many fundraising events over the next few months, we are looking to raise £11,000 to be able to reach our goal. After years of saving as a club, we have enough funds to start the process, but not enough to finish. We need to raise these fund by July 2021, just a short 9 months from now. So with every member of our club supporting with events and fundraising days, we are confident that we can build the future for Kineton Cricket Club.
