Raising funds for Lorna & her family

Lorna has had the devastating news that her cancer has returned at stage 4, she is 26 and has three beautiful children, including newborn twins born a couple of weeks ago.

This will never be enough to take away the pain and heartache of what she is feeling right now - but hopefully it will lift her spirits at whats supposed to be the happiest time of her life bringing newborn twins into the world and Christmas around the corner.

Here is Lorna's story in her own words:

I was first diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2019, I had a double mastectomy the following month, followed by egg preservation, 6 months of chemotherapy and 3 weeks of radiotherapy. In January 2020 I had a scan which showed no evidence of cancer. We fell pregnant naturally in March 2020 with twins. In November 2020 I went to a&e following a conversation with 111 about breathlessness and a change to my voice and cough. I had a scan of my chest which revealed a mass. After a couple of days in hospital I had a conversation with my oncologist who arranged a biopsy to be done. We decided to have the twins delivered early so we could commence any treatment that may be needed. The Friday following the birth of the twins, I received the news that the breast cancer had returned and was now stage 4, meaning it is incurable.
