Save A Life Medical Transport needed MA to FL

Hi, my name is Lance Gifford. As many of my friends know, I have been trying to bring my parents to Florida to live with me, where I am better able to help care for and support them. I have purchased a nice trailer, a medical bed, and medical equipment for my dad, Bruce Bemis. Since December, he has been in the hospital on a feeding tube in MA. He has wanted to move to Florida for years, and we feel this would give him the best chance at recovery. My father requires constant care. Per the hospital's advice, medical transportation is the safest way to get dad here to Florida. For months, we have had medical support set up for his arrival. For many months the insurance company assured the hospital and me that they would cover the medical transport from MA to FL with a small copay. But after getting things in place, they denied covering the medical cost for medical transportation. We keep hitting roadblocks. Private medical transportation is the only way to make this happen.

As one would imagine, this is very expensive. Still, it would allow us to have the extended support necessary to care for Dad (Bruce Bemis) during travel and safely transport him to us here in Florida. We are trying to raise $12,900 for the cost of private medical transportation through (ACC Medlink).
