Raising FUNDS for MND to improve OUTCOMES

For a bloke on the wrong side of 50, I’ve taken up the challenge to run the New York Marathon on Sunday 5 November 2023.

In loving memory of my wife Anna who passed away from MND in 2020, I am using the opportunity to raise awareness of Motor Neurone Disease and raise funds to assist with exploring the bringing together of the MND communities through the amalgamation of all efforts through one body.

The individual MND entities such as MND Australia and its association members, Fight MND and many others are all adding significant value in research, advocacy, education and care and I am looking at the opportunity of bringing these organisations together for what I believe will add greater value through a focussed and efficient structure.

The monies raised are to be used by MND Australia to explore this opportunity including the development of a short to medium term plan and to advocate the implementation of the plan.
