Raising Funds for Professional Tennis Career

My name is Malkia Ngounoue and I am originally from D.C. I have been playing tennis all of my life, starting at the age of 5. Since then, it became my dream to play at the highest level and use my professional status to give back to my community, especially in terms of mental health. I came to the University of Kansas with a purpose to get better so that I am able to take my game professionally and in five years, I never strayed from that goal.

I’ve played for five years on the Kansas team, holding the number 1 singles and number 1 doubles the entire year season of 2022-2023. I reached a high singles ranking of 26. I received  year-end awards of being All-Big 12 First Team in singles and All-Big 12 Second Team in doubles. I also received Big 12 Player of the Week this year in February.

Since my season has come to an end, I will be playing on the WTA tour full-time and will need financial help along the way to aid me in the costs of playing the ITF events for the first couple of years, for both doubles and singles.

August 04 - 11: UTR PTT 25K Boca Raton
August 17-19th: Battle of Boca
August 24th- 26th: Battle of Boca
September 02-08: W35K Punta Cana
September 08-15th: W35K Punta Cana
