Support sweet Ana after a horrible car accident
Donation protected
Hello Everyone,
We are Erin Tones and Leah Chelist, cousins to Alicia Kirk, Ana Marsh's mother. We wanted to provide the following update as Alicia, Daryl and Ana's siblings are navigating this difficult time.
UPDATE (see below for full story): We are beyond heartbroken to share that we lost sweet, young Ana today, December 11th at 1:38pm. She fought with so much strength, but the injuries sustained from the accident were too much to overcome. She passed away peacefully with her family and those closest to her by her side.
We are so appreciative to those who have already contributed to the fund so generously and the outpouring of love and support.
This changes the financial needs. Ana's family will need to cover any outstanding medical expenses considering the intensive care she was provided at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. In addition contributions will support funeral expenses so the family has the opportunity to honor Ana and the amazing impact she had in her relationships and community during her short time on this earth. Any surplus will be used to provide counseling and mental health resources for Ana's siblings and address additional financial hardship during this incomprehensible time.
To our donors and supporters, we understand the importance of transparency and want to let you know, that our cousin, Alicia Kirk, Ana's mother, is set up as a beneficiary of this fund. A bank transfer will be established to ensure the secure and efficient disbursement process.
Gratitude and love to all.
On December 7, Ana was in a horrific car accident near her home in Cayuga County, New York. She was air lifted to the trauma center at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, where she continues to receive treatment with her loving family by her side. Ana suffered multiple very serious injuries. She is currently on life support, and the medical team is doing everything they can to reduce her cranial pressure and save Ana's life. The family, friends and loved ones are praying for a miracle, in hopes of Ana being able to overcome her injuries and start the long road of rehabilitation.
Ana is 19 years old, a graduate of Southern Cayuga High School and she is currently in her first semester of her physical therapy program at Cayuga Community College. Those of you who know Ana can attest that her smile is everything, her kindness is unwavering, and her positivity is palpable.
Her parents, Daryl and Alicia Kirk, along with her siblings, extended family, and friends are hoping and praying every moment of every day that Ana pulls through this battle. She is a fighter, and we love her so! Please consider donating to help support Ana. Funds will be used to help the family through this difficult time, and to cover medical expenses and other unforeseen financial challenges that will arise for Ana and her family.
