Raising funds to evacuate a family from Gaza
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Rufaidah Rahman (Tiffani) and i am a revert from the UK currently fundraising to evacuate a family from Rafah. Current exact location: Mawasi Rafah Tel Al-Sultan
The living conditions in Rafah refugee camp are dire and slowly getting worse. Families are starving, freezing to death, no access to medical care or simple basic human needs and they urgently need our help.
The family I am currently helping have asked me to help them out of this situation so I am trying to do everything in my power.
Currently it costs around £10,000 to leave Gaza and there are 7 family members including children, one as young as 18 months so I won’t include their names to protect them.
They are hungry, they are tired and cold and exhausted from lack of sleep. There is an ever looming threat on their lives and they live in fear every single day.
here is how the funds will be distributed
please help if you can, they deserve it more than anything. The majority of the support will be used to pay for special permits at the Egyptian border. Unfortunately, the cost of this is rising by the hour, starting at £500 per person initially, and ending with £11,000 per person currently. If the children did not need permits to cross the border, the cost would be £88,000.
The rest of your support will be used to bring them to Türkiye.
A. The Sini: Transportation from Rafah border to Cairo. While cars that cross the Sini desert between the two cities control the prices and charges for passengers escaping the war, It should not cost more than 2,000 USD.
B. Travel fees: such as flight tickets and visas should cost around 4,000 USD
a message from the family : Welcome
I hope you interact with me... What we are going through is not good, and it is horrific for our children to experience more dark and scary nights... Feel for us and interact... until we emerge together in peace.
I want you to help my family escape the anti-Palestinian genocide and televised massacres.
My name is Ahmed, I am from the Gaza Strip. I will be doing this fundraising campaign to help get my beloved family out of Gaza, due to the social and economic conditions that all residents of the Gaza Strip are going through.
Current situation so far: My father and my unmarried siblings live together in Khan Yunis. My brother and sisters, their spouses, and my nephews
The four (the youngest of whom was born in the middle of the war) evacuated their home to the south where they sought safety for their children in UN tents. After 100 days of narrowly escaping death, my parents had to leave our home in Khan Yunis and head south to Rafah. Rafah was very crowded, and my family had to return to the danger zone in Khan Yunis. Our area became a battlefield. The neighbor's house was bombed by several missiles, and our house was severely damaged. The building we live in was partially damaged as a result of the force of an explosion
Rockets that hit the surrounding area. It can collapse and is not safe. They also lack adequate food and water supplies, and cannot access proper health care and emergency care.
I have not been able to contact my father and mother for several days. The last time I spoke to my brother Salman was weeks ago. My pain is nothing compared to the pain of others, and yet I never thought I could bear so much, to lose so many people and things close to me.
