Raising funds to help Cats and kittens in rescue
Donation protected
After rescuing 2 cats at the beginning of 2023 and realising how much we loved having them around we decided in November 2024 to start fostering for Buttons, Tootsie and Aria are our first foster cats and they have been with us for 6 months, these 2 beautiful girls are the best of friends and are very much a part of our family. Unfortunately they are still stuck in foster care due to the rescue not having the funds to pay for neutering for not only them but many other cats and kittens also in foster care. Buttons relies completely on donations and has increasing vets bills due to taking in many stray and unwell cats and kittens that require treatment. Kitten season has seen a big intake in new additions to the rescue adding an increasing financial burden.
On June 8th Eirian and Frankie along with other family members, members of St Johns on stage (our local theatre group) and other Buttons fosterers will be taking part in a 10 mile sponsored walk. This will be 5 laps of a 2 mile loop around Mapplewell Village starting and finishing at Landons Diner where we will have a Buttons stall selling cupcakes and various other fundraising items. We will also be taking donations of cat and kitten food on the day. The girls would be extremely grateful for any donations to help them achieve their target amount.
