Raising funds to make final memories with family

Hi. My name is Melissa. Many already know my situation but things have now taken a turn for the worse.

I was diagnosed with stomach cancer in December of 2019. We went into the treatment phase (2020) full of hope and fight. I did the standard of care which consisted of super harsh chemo and then a surgery to remove 66% of my stomach. Unfortunately, my margins weren't clear so we proceeded with 28 days of chemoradiation.

I thought I'd beaten it.

Scans post treatment showed that it had spread to my ovary, also known as a Krukenberg tumor. Was rushed in to have a radical hysterectomy in April 2021.

Oncologist could only offer palliative chemo for the rest of my life. I put my faith in Christ and refused to pursue further chemo. I decided to try alternative medicine, mainly the Joe Tippens protocol.

I managed to stay stable for 18 months, during which I lost my mother to lung cancer and faced a slew of health issues which led to pain in my ribs, mid and upper back, neck, and chest region for the last 2 months.

Not sure of the origin, we thought maybe it was COVID-19 or arthritic. I asked my oncologist and he ordered a bone scan.

The results came back showing that I had extensive bone metastasis...basically all over my body. Doc has upped my pain meds and we have discussed treatment options.

Following this, I had a CT scan 10/4/22. The scan showed that the cancer has now also spread extensively to my organs and nodules in the soft tissues in the abdominal and chest area and peritoneal. My left kidney is beginning to fail as well.

I will be getting a monthly shot to help prevent fractures and maybe stabilize the growth. It's a long shot but to have a better quality of life while going through the process of dying, I'll take it.

I'm here starting our final fundraiser because there's a few things I want to do with my family. Disneyland trip and a trip to my favorite city in America.

I want to do as much as I can before I can't be mobile anymore and hospice is called in. Please help in anyway you can as every little bit helps.
