Hi Everyone, for those of you that don’t know my name is Khloe patino and this sweet adorable pup’s name is Buddy. He is our 8 month old puppy and such an important part of our family. Two days ago, the worst thing you could imagine happening to your pet, happened to ours. While at home my little buddy got his paw stuck in a gate that we use to keep him from going down the stairs and completely fractured and dislocated his right Arm. panic had set in, He was stuck and wanted to get loose and forced himself to pull his arm out with too much strength. Once he was off he fell to the ground and started crying and would no longer stand up. My dad took him to the Vet office last night to get him help because he was crying in pain all night. The doctor gave him an X-ray and pain medication to relax him for now. It was to late to do Surgery but they told us it was broken all the way and a cast would not fix the problem. He will need a specialist surgery to re build his shoulder and arm bone and fractured rib cage on the right side, we are looking around and getting help with this as much as possible as we are In Florida for summer break. We were sad to hear because we had been hoping for just small bruise not expecting all this. Then we were told we have options: 1. Try to save his leg with surgery which would cost more then we were prepared for but is the only option as a cast or leaving it alone will make it so he will Never walk again. To cover the initial exam, X-rays, Surgery, boarding, medication and after care, we’re looking at a quote of a little over $6500. This has been such an unexpected emergency but we couldn’t imagine life without Buddy. If you have a love for dogs, I know you get it Maybe with your help, together we can spread our story and raise enough to help cover the medical costs for our fluffy best friend! We don’t expect to raise all funds, but Any little bit helps. Our family wants to thank you for taking the time to read our story.
