Raising Money for Donato S. Dellarosa

My name is Leo DiBenedetto and I am a Special Education Teacher from Staten Island, NY. Today I come asking for help. Donato Dellarosa is my younger cousin, and has been through a lot.

Donato Dellarosa is a young man who has unfortunately had to face non-stop adversity and tragedy from a very early age. Donato was bullied on a school bus at the age of 9 years old and was forced to remove his spleen. Something no child should ever have to experience. Donato’s father, Danny, a sheet metal worker , fell 10 stories off of a ladder and was unable to work And provide for his family. Through all of this Donato was able to keep a smile on his face.

This year unfortunately things have managed to get worse. Donato lost his mother just two months ago at 50 years old to lung cancer. This was a terrible blow to Donato and the rest of his family. As seen in the link above, the nightmare has continued. Donato and his father Danny’s house burnt down last night in a 5-alarm fire in the Dyker Heights area of Brooklyn. Donato and his father had everything they owned in this house. I have put together this GoFundMe in hopes to help Donato and his father get back on their feet. Any contribution would mean the world to Donato and his family. These donations will allow for Donato and his father to get back on their feet and find a new place to live. The family was left with nothing. These donations will be brought directly and personally from me to Donato and his father.
