Alexander is Raising Money for Food Allergy Research

Donation protected
As many of you know, I’ve struggled with a food allergy since I was very young. I started Oral Immunotherapy Treatment in 2020, and now, I am desensitised.

This week (April 21st to 28th) is Allergy Awareness Week. In honour of this, I will be doing a 10k run to raise money to support the research of the doctor who treated me, Dr. Kari Nadeau. Kari is the Chair of the Department of Environmental Health at the Harvard School of Public Health and is the most inspirational and incredible person I know.

Being treated by Kari for my food allergy truly changed my life. I would like to help her treat as many other people who suffer from food allergies as possible. Kari is the world leader in her field, having treated thousands of patients worldwide. She is now leading the effort to open The Center for Allergy and Asthma Research at Harvard University - a center that, under her leadership, is just a few years away from achieving a complete cure for food allergies.

Kari needs $25 million to open this research center. As one of her patients, and someone whose life was completely changed by her work, I would like to help raise some of this money in any way I can.

All donations collected through this GoFundMe page will be forwarded to the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, with the direct purpose of establishing this center.

I would be so grateful for any donations to help support Kari’s life-changing work.
