Raising money for Jared

I am asking for help for a friend, Jared Orwig. I want to give a little bit of a background about himself and why his family needs help at this difficult time. Jared is a fun guy, I remember years ago I crashed my sisters senior week, Jared was one of the group! Ever since we have remained friends. He has a kind heart and such a hard worker. Jared was diagnosed with Hodgins in July 2017 at that time he had a port placed and started chemotherapy treatment in August. He received 12 treatments of ABVD every other week. During that time he also suffered a Pulmonary embolism as well as two blood clots in his lungs. The infection was so bad it damaged the inferior portion of his left lung.  All of these complications caused the treatment course to take longer.  Jared went into remission in May 2018. I also want to mention during all of this, he continued to work his full time job.  His images continued to be clear of Cancer, until November 2018. Jared and his wife, Nicole decided to wait until after the Holidays to follow through with the next treatment plan. Jared and Nicole went to Sloan Kettering Memorial in NY to discuss trial option treatments.  Jared is a stage 4 cancer. He will be going to Sloan Kettering on Monday 01/07/19 to follow through with testing and start an invasive treatment plan. Jared's plan of care is as follows; he will two 3 week cycles then a scan to see if treatment is working. If that is unsuccessful, he will then undergo another 1 or 2 more cycles and another scan. If at that time Jared doesn't have a clean PET scan he will undergo a very invasive chemotherapy. Once a clear PET scan is achieved, the next step is Jared would need to be admitted to Sloan Kettering Memorial in NY to have stem cells withdrawn and then more chemotherapy, high doses, his expected stay at that time is 3-4 weeks at the hospital. He will also receive all immunizations  once again and then will give him back stem cells. 
Jared has a wife, Nicole, and two young sons, Jager and Jax.  I am asking for any donations that you are able to offer as the Orwig's are going through this difficult time. In addition to that please pray, for Jared. He's a fighter.
