Raising money for kevin bell in memory of Ryan straney

We have set up a JustGiving Page, to raise funds for the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, in memory of Ryan Straney, who was an immensely talented former Lámh Dhearg Senior Footballer & Hurler. Ryan tragically passed away in a road traffic accident in Sydney, Australia on 15th April 2024. The pain we are feeling indescribable as he was truely one in a million. The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust are helping the family navigate the difficult journey of bringing our beloved Ryan back to Ireland and we’d like you to help support the amazing work they do, at this exceptionally difficult time.

Ryan was adored by many and someone you could easily admire. ‘The most talented man I’ve ever met’ a close friend labelled him. He was an incredible athlete both on the GAA pitch and on the golf course and will be deeply missed by all at Lámh Dhearg GAA and Balmoral Golf Club.

Any donation however small or big, is massively appreciated by our family and by this incredible charity. It’s the number none of us ever thought we’d have to ring, but we are so grateful for their help at this traumatic time for our family.

In the difficult days and weeks that lie ahead of us, we can only hope that Ryan will give us the strength to get through them.
