Raising money for local LGBQT Organization
Alright friends, I'm pretty pumped up that I got my vax appointment set for May 31st, the day before PRIDE month begins, and I figured why not start PRIDE off with a bang!
I wanted to use this opportunity to use my platform to raise money for an organization and break some gender norms. As an ally to the 2SLGBTQ+ community, I think it's important to put my money where my mouth is... literally.
100% of the donations go directly to Rainbow Resource Centre here in Winnipeg. An organization dedicated to doing amazing outreach work and supporting the 2SLGBTQ+ community across Manitoba.
As a straight cis white man in our society, I'm afforded many privileges. I'm trying to use my privileges to bring awareness, break gender norms, and raise money to help build a better world for all!
With that, I'm letting all of you decide what I wear to my vaccine appointment, either a wedding dress or a tuxedo (with tear-away sleeves so I can still get vaxxed).

Make sure you add in which outfit you are voting for when you donate!
The outfit with the most donations will be what I wear to my vaccine appointment!
More information about Rainbow Resource Centre Inc.: Mission Statement: Provides support, education, and resources to foster a proud, resilient, and diverse 2SLGBTQ+ Community.
