Raising Money For Meals

My 40th birthday is on May 1st. Oftentimes, I get many cards and "gifts" in the mail. During this time, I need NOTHING other than your help to keep people fed. It would make for the very best birthday :)

I firmly believe food is love. It's a gift that no one should go without. Ever since childhood, one of my favorite hobbies has been cooking and providing good meals for my friends and family. Sadly, so many people are without right now. This is where we can help. 

Food charities are suffering from unprecedented demand. I want nothing more than to raise money to help keep the food pantries of America stocked. 

I am raising this money to support 4 charities. Every penny raised will be donated to the following charities with great track records of using their dollars wisely: 

-Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina will receive $15,000  
-Watchmen of the Streets (an organization that supports homeless neighbors in North and South Carolina) will receive $15,000 
-Meals on Wheels America will receive $15,000
-Feeding America will receive $15,000 

I certainly understand many people reading this will not be able to help, or may choose other charities. I understand, and pray you find the resources you need, or find it in your heart to help in whatever way possible.

Also, time is of the essence. As soon as this campaign reaches its current goal of $60,000, I will request a withdrawal of the funds and deliver the appropriated amounts as soon as they are available to me. Hopefully this week! I can’t thank you all enough for your kindness and compassion. It means so many more people will at least have the comfort of food. ❤️
