Raising money for the MIND charity
In 2020, the Office of National Statistics published that 5,224 people in England and Wales sadly took their own life, this equates to on average 14.3 people a day. Approximately 1 in 4 people experience a mental health issue each year. With 1 in 6 people in the UK experiencing a common mental health problem, such as anxiety and depression.
As a result, I am raising money in aid of Mind (NAMH), a fantastic charity who provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing mental health issues. Mind campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding nationwide.
In order raise this money, I will be taking part in a challenge to complete 14.3 kilometres a day for 30 days, in June. I will complete the distances by running, cycling and rowing.
I am originally setting a target of £1000 with the hope to exceed this amount with your generosity. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me and provides incomprehensible support to so many individuals.
