Nova's Girls Scouts Silver Award Project

My name is Nova, and I'm a Girl Scout Cadette, currently in 8th Grade. I am currently working on my Girl Scout Silver Award.

For this take-action project, I'm planning on donating period product dispensers to the West Suburban YMCA of Greater Waukesha. These period product dispensers will make it easier for girls/women to have access to free period products instead of using rash-causing toilet paper. This will change the mental and physical state of women and girls that are low on period supplies.

Due to how expensive the dispensers and refill pads are, I am asking for your financial contribution, so I can purchase the needed materials for my project. A donation of any amount would help me reach my goal.

I plan to donate three dispensers and packages of pads and tampons with the collected funds. Any additional fund will be used to buy pads and tampons to donate to the homeless/women’s shelter.
