Raising money to develop a videogame

Hi everyone, my name is James Tolbert; I’m an aspiring engineer studying Computer Engineering at Purdue University with dreams of building a game that is not only exciting and entertaining, but also provides relief from the day to day hustle of life! Being an only child, I understand the joy videogames can bring; like a book, videogames provide an escape from reality and, to some people, a safe space to be themselves. I hope to instill these feelings into those who touch my game. Stinger’s Nest will be a game that mixes in aspects of horror, survival, and suspense alongside rpg elements to provide a satisfying, enjoyable, and exciting gameplay experience. To initiate my goal, the project needs an opening fund of 23K USD. I’m asking you today to be part of the 4,000 people giving a minimum donation of $5.25 or, if unable, share this with 10 other people so that everyone is aware of these goals I’ve set out to reach and may be able to do their part to help me reach the stars above!
