Unexpected Medical Testing

Hi everybody. I hate that I have to do this, but with medical bills piling up I figured it's time to ask for help...

 

A few months ago, I went to the doctor as I was (and still am) having severe brain fog, loss of appetite and energy loss. I had some blood work done to show that I have lower thyroid levels. Upon further bloodwork and an ultrasound, the doctor confirmed I have multiple bilateral hypoechoic solid nodules or colloid cysts on my thyroid, which they would like to test to see if they are malignant (cancerous). They put me on some medication that helps prevent the nodules/cysts from growing as I was unable to afford more testing at the moment and am sort of "put on hold" until I can afford more screenings.

 

I was referred to an endocrinologist who would like me to do more lab work, however I am required to pay $444.84 before I can even make an appointment with the center (some past bill from 2018 when my ex-boyfriend put me in the hospital)! The money I am raising would go towards that bill, the medications (even with insurance, they are quite expensive and I can barely afford a 2 week supply), and the new doctors appointments coming up (co-pays for doctor/lab/imaging/biopsy/etc), and surgery. The doctors state that even if they are not malignant they will still want to remove them. I need to come up with the money to pay for the lab as soon as possible so we can get started on my treatment plan.
