RAISING THE ROOF FOR THE KEPZ ANIMAL SANCTUARY CORFU
This merry band have written, and are singing, a song to help raise funds to replace the old leaking asbestos roofs in the KEPZ animal sanctuary, located near to Aqualand on the Holiday Island of Corfu, Greece. The volunteers keep hitting their heads on the asbestos roofs which leak and are a health risk to them and the dogs that live at the shelter. Filmed beside the Coseley Canal otherwise known as a 'cut'. They are Coseley United Trekkers (CUT).They have formed the 'arf-cut folk group and this is their first ever song together after 4 attempts. Not bad eh?
The tunnel behind is called the quarter mile tunnel (not that long really) built by Thomas Telford after the other canals were built to save an extra 7 mile trip. That way leads to Wolverhampton 3 mile and opposite way to Birmingham 11 mile.
This is their RAISE THE ROOF APPEAL CHARITY SONG for the KEPZ animal sanctuary. They will be walking 2 days in Wales on October 12th and 13th hoping to sing and walk and raise money for the charity.
Hopefully we can reach our target of £4000.
Please help us on this raise the roof appeal.
Cheers to all
