Article

A grocery store owner, Rajesh Sharma, has been holding free lessons for slum children under a bridge in India for the past seven years after being inspired to help them.

We would like to raise this money to order to help Rajesh & his team in buying things for the children and the school.

Nearly 200 underprivileged children from neighbouring ghettos now come to the school, which is known as “Free School, Under the Bridge” and is located in one of the world’s most polluted cities, New Delhi.

The school is entirely dependent on public financial support, both from well-wishers and nongovernment organisations. People donate books, uniform, footwear, and food on a regular basis. The number of students has grown from around 50 students in 2010 to nearly 200 seven years later.

The school exists off donations from the public and charges no fees to students.

Ahmer wanted to start this campaign but couldn't since GoFundMe isn't available in India.

The students are aged 4 to 14 and study everything from basic reading and writing to physical activities.
