Rakeem Jones, hero of Fayetteville
Donation protected
Rakeem Jones was attacked by "Quick Draw McGraw", a 76-year-old white male at a Trump rally in Fayetteville, NC approximately nine months ago. Rakeem was so terrified that the violence would continue, and he would be killed, that he stopped riding the public bus and changed his pizza delivery route to a different part of town. When the case came to Court, he chose to deescalate the problem. In the end, he shook McGraw's hand and patted him on the shoulder. McGraw, who has no friends, was deeply moved by this action.
Rakeem is struggling financially. He continues to work hard delivering pizzas, but makes very little money. To me, he is a hero. I would like all of us to join in recognizing what he has done, and to say thank you in this small way. The money will all go to Rakeem, to use as he sees fit.
WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD: one heart at a time.
My deepest thanks to anyone who wants to join me in this gift of loving to a very special man.
