Rally Behind Erin: Support Her Journey to Recovery

Hi, I'm Katie, and I'm reaching out to you for support for my sister Erin.

On March 29, Erin suffered a devastating fall during a walk home with friends, leading to a series of severe injuries including fractured vertebrae, ribs, and a collapsed lung. She also sustained a subdural hematoma (brain bleed), which required her to be placed in a medically induced coma and intubated for 8 days. Erin's journey to recovery has been challenging, with ongoing medical procedures and the need for intense inpatient rehab to regain function on her left side.

Despite the challenges she faces, Erin's unwavering resilience and determination continue to inspire us all. Known for her caring nature and infectious humor, Erin has touched the lives of many through her volunteer work and selfless acts of kindness. It's heart-wrenching to see someone like Erin go through such a difficult time.

Erin will certainly be facing hurdles with her physical and mental recovery, which is why we are putting together this fundraising effort. While she's been charming the nurses with her wit and humor, her medical bills are anything but a joke.
