FiNCA West End closing - an end of an era

FiNCA began on a whim. One day I was a graduate student, and the next, I was a full-time barista and business owner at FiNCA West End. With a leap of faith, I poured my heart and soul into creating a space where community and coffee could thrive together.

Over the past four years, we've been honored to host many of your special moments and many of our own. We've caffeinated couples saying “I do,” empowered people to proudly declare themselves “queer and caffeinated,” and supported you through both good days and bad. We've had an incredible amount of fun along the way.

Unfortunately, just as it started, FiNCA West End is closing abruptly. Our last day of service is this Monday. We invite you to join us one last time: come by, enjoy your favorite drinks, and tip your barista generously.

The West End Barista Team is facing abrupt professional hurdles. The team of six Baristas was planning to show up on Tuesday ready to serve you and now they are navigating emotional and financial changes.

All funds raised will be disseminated by average hours worked/week.
