Rally for a Child's Life-Saving Heart Surgery

Hi everyone

Our hearts are heavy as we share that our sweet, smart, and strong 12-year-old nephew Anthony has been diagnosed with a rare and serious heart condition called AAORCA (Anomalous Aortic Origin of a Right Coronary Artery). This condition causes one of the heart's main arteries to be misrouted, which can lead to sudden cardiac arrest if left untreated -- even in otherwise healthy, active kids like Anthony. After months of symptoms, testing, and specialist visits, we now know that the only way to protect his life is through open heart surgery. This is a terrifying path, but it's the one that gives Anthony the best chance to live a full, healthy life - to go back to riding his bike, playing with his friends, and just being a kid. The surgery is scheduled soon requiring them to travel from Ohio to Boston for the surgery. While they are doing everything they can to prepare, the medical costs, travel expenses, post-op care, and time off

work are overwhelming. So I am humbly asking for help to ease the financial burden for my sister and brother-in-law so they can focus on
