Rally for Adonis: Community Volunteer in Need

Adonis Salazar is an active community member, volunteer and Reading neighbor who survived being shot in the chest while playing basketball with friends in City Park on March 31st. Donations will go directly to his mother, Edita Polanco, to aid his recovery and medical bills.

Adonis and his family are taken aback by this shocking, life-threatening incident. Though he is in stable condition, the medical cost, time for recovery, and other needs will undoubtedly put immense strain on Adonis and his family.

Community group Barrio Alegria, where Adonis is a frequent and passionate volunteer, is helping establish this fundraiser with his family. All money is going directly to the Adonis' family to help them in this difficult time.
