Rally for Brian: Healing After Attack

My name is Brian Thornton. I am not sitting here typing this right now. This is being told to you from a good friend of mine.

On Thursday February 13, 2025 as I was walking home from work, at 5:45AM I got to the front of my house and was attacked from behind. I was hit over the back of my head with what appears to have been a metal pipe or possibly an axe or hatchet of some type. I was immediately knocked out and fell to the ground where I continued to be attacked. I was hit in the face several times and my jaw was broken in two separate locations. I was then attacked with what appears to have been a knife or some type of sharp object and the side of my face was sliced open. Somehow I managed to crawl 60+ feet to the back of my house and hit door enough to wake my wife.

Brian is an amazing guy. Yes he is loud, very opinionated and always seems like he is angry at everything and everyone. Nothing could be further from the truth. He has a heart of gold. It is said that, "To have a heart of gold one must be very gentle, kind, caring and a genuine person" To know Brian is to know how true that describes who he is.

He is in the hospital and will be for a while. After having brain surgery, twice... ten hours of reconstructive surgery, he is actually doing better then anyone expected. Unfortunately his medical bill are not. If you have the means and can donate anything, that would be amazing. Thank you so much.
