Rally for Chantelle's Healing and Home

Hi, my name is Olivia Clouse. I am Chantelle's best friend and Auntie to her daughter, Addisyn. I have been in Chantelle's life for a very long time, and I have watched her go through so much. She has a huge heart and would give you the shirt off her back. She will protect anyone she truly cares about, and she will never ask for anything in return. But now I am asking for help for her.

She is struggling to stay afloat as she has been out of work on long-term disability leave for a full calendar year. She has a 12-year-old daughter at home, a service animal for her disabilities (her Cane Corso, Max), and her daughter has 2 kittens. She suffers from Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), and hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. They're pursuing an additional diagnosis of Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) that tends to run comorbid with her existing ailments. This will be the third time in her life these ailments have relapsed (caused by catching COVID-19 while being immunocompromised). Her ankle also spontaneously shattered in October, which has caused a regression in her healing. She's been awaiting a social security hearing, as she's been permanently disabled since, without much of a path forward. Her current long-term leave wage is 50% of her typical salary, with the additional health costs and food allergies only adding further to the insurmountable debt.

This fundraiser is to catch up the mortgage so she does not re-enter pre-foreclosure and lose the house, with nowhere to go. She has already been turned away by CAC, HRC, DSHS, Salvation Army, Goodwill, WA PFMLA (in the appeals process), and many churches with their benevolence applications. She knows everyone struggles this time of year, and we hope you can give her grace and understanding in these trying times.
