Rally for Danielle: Overcoming Cancer Together

Danielle Strickland is a loving wife and mother to 4 fabulous kids. She loves Jesus and has a passion for His word and sharing it with people. If you have the honor of knowing Danielle, then you know she is one of the most loyal, selfless, generous, creative souls.

3 years ago, she was diagnosed with a rare cancer of the appendix called a low-grade mucinous neoplasm. Only around 1,000 people in the U.S. are diagnosed with this form of cancer each year. She has had three surgeries leading up to this major surgery. The specialized procedure that she is getting is called the HIPEC and is only performed at a handful of facilities in the U.S. It is a two-fold procedure where they remove affected tissues and then perform a localized intense form of heated chemotherapy. The surgery will be performed on September 13th. This type of very intensive surgery takes an average of 8-10 hours, with a hospital stay of at least 2 weeks.

I am asking her friends, family, and the community to rally around this beautiful family. We can't go through this for them, but we can surround Danielle, Randy, Hannah, Ellie, Joel, and Jonny to help support them and their medical needs. There will be medical bills, travel costs, loss of work, and other unexpected burdens that medical crises incur. Please pray and consider helping this remarkable woman walk out her life to the fullest, giving God the glory for what we expect to be a remarkable testimony of His provision and restoration.

The verse Danielle is standing on is Isaiah 43:1-5,

“Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.”
