Support Jimmy Jatho's Heart Surgery Recovery

Donation protected
If you know Jimmy Jatho, you know this about him: he has the biggest heart. Right now, that heart is having a little bit of give. We need Jimmy up and at 'em. But it’s going to take a while before Jimmy’s back to the Lyric, or walking dog pals, or Sunday at the farmers market with his ride or dies.

That’s what we’re all here for, his friends, the same way he’s been here for us: to help him through the next six+ months, when Jimmy won’t be earning a paycheck, or able to pay for his car insurance, or rent, or just day to day.

Wait - what happened? Well, Jim was helping a friend out, walking their pup, when he passed out on the sidewalk. When Jimmy came to, the little pup was staring down at him. Jimmy knew something had gone very, very wrong.
Fast forward to a cardiologist telling him he needed open heart surgery to clean up an aortic valve situation - right away. Surgery was Monday 01/27 and Jimmy is recovering nicely now at Cedars in LA.

So here we are. His friends. Rallying around him. We’d like to raise enough money for him to survive the coming months - to not stress like he’s been since the pandemic shut down his beloved UCB about making ends meet. To know tomorrow will come, and everything will be all right, as long as he focuses on his health, can take the strain off his heart and body, and recover without financial strain.
